Newent Judo Club

Welcome to our website.

We are a British Judo Association (BJA) registered club and all our members are expected to join the BJA. We are holders of a bronze Clubmark award. Our sessions are open to all. We currently have 2 qualified club coaches; Bryan Butler and Elaine O'Connell.

We also have a Welfare Officer who looks after the interests of the junior members; Hazel Cutting.

Elaine O'Connell is our Inclusion Officer, as part of our outreach inclusion project, she does taster sessions in local schools and through Active Gloucestershire attends a variety of special needs events.

Our Coaches and Club officials have all been CRB checked via the BJA.

Newent Judo Club meets every Friday, 6.30pm to 8pm for juniors, 8.00pm to 9.30pm for seniors (includes 10 minutes to put mats away). Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts for registration. We are located in the small gym at Newent Leisure Centre.
